Owners Betty Eckland and Ginger Lipscomb each have over 20 years of experience and training in the lapidary arts, and that experience is evident in the quality and uniqueness of their jewelry. In fact, most of the jewelry is made right on the premises, and the customer is often encouraged to become involved in the process. For those not interested in active participation, there are hundreds of unique pieces ready for immediate sale.
We are proud of our reputation for locating that lesser known, harder to find gemstone, and then mixing in different metals - we use gold, silver, copper, whatever mix seems appropriate for the piece - and coming up with combinations and colors that you will find nowhere else. We think a great piece of jewelry should reflect your attitude, and we think we have the stones and the metals to make your choice perfect.
There are also plenty of natural non-jewelry items to browse through at Stones. Sage bundles and sweet grass, meditation beads and worry stones are everywhere. Stone bookends, green onyx goblets and bowls, stone turtles peeking from the bookcase, are a few of the items for sale. There are also fossils and mineral specimens, crystal clusters and “dollar rocks”….even Gift Certificates for the impossible to choose…
